I know many of you didn't like House Beautiful's October issue (I know, I'm so behind with my magazines) but I actually found so much to love in it. I think the art on the cover image was unfortunate (not that it was bad, it was just too much for the room.) But other than that, I really enjoyed it. Oh, and did you know Newell Turner (the editor in chief) likes sci-fi flicks?

In other news, I finally put the thrifted rug in my office, and it makes it look so much better. I think that's just the motivation I needed to frame some art and find proper seating for this room. So you can expect more cube into home posts in the near future.
